How to Fix Document Reading Bottlenecks in Agent Pipelines

Dedicated document-parsing preprocessing stage: Run a specialized document-parsing step (structure/layout-aware extraction, not raw OCR-then-reason) before handing content to the reasoning agent, so the agent reasons over verified structured data rather than raw text it must simultaneously read and interpret.
